October-December Camp Sessions

Camps begin the week of October 17, complete Dec. 16 (9 weeks)

10 total camp participants only with 2 available part time spots (call 403-315-0543 for details)

Session # 1- Minor

Athletes born between 2013-2015
Mondays only from 5-6:30PM

The minor camp will cover fundamental baseball development for players playing in the minor age division.

The camp will cover defensive fundamentals as well a particular focus on hitting and pitching. Players will develop confidence hitting pitch speeds between 38-45mph. There will also be a strength and conditioning component as well which will include bounding, medince balls and agility drills.

Cost: $300

  • Proper throwing mechanics
  • Game style competitions using our HitTrax virtual system

Session # 2 - Major/Intermediate

Athletes born in 2010-2012
Monday/Wednesday 6:45pm-8:15pm

Session #2 camp is designed for experienced Little Leaguers.

The camp will cover all aspects of baseball (throwing, hitting, catching, fielding and pitching). Batting practice pitch speeds will be in the range of 45-55 mph. Curve balls will also be introduced. There will also be a strength and conditioning component in every session.

  • Agility, footwork and strength training component
  • Arm care and arm strengthening techniques
  • Video analysis of hitters

Session # 3 - Bantam

Athletes born in 2008-2009
Tuesday/Thursday 5PM - 6:30

The Bantam camp is focused on experienced baseball players looking to improve their skills.

The camp will focus on improving all fundamental techniques of baseball with particular attention given to pitching, back catching and hitting. There is a strength and conditioning component to every session that will include some time in the weight room. Resistance training (free weights) will be used. Batting practice pitch speeds of 60-70 mph will be used. Game style competitions will be incorporated using our HitTrax system.

Session # 4 - 18u Camp

Athletes born 2004-2007
Tuesday/Thursday 6:45pm-8:15pm

The 18u camp is designed for those players who will be playing in the ABA Midget or American Legion programs.

The camp will cover skill development with a focus on hitting, pitching and catching. Arm strengthening techniques and strategies will also be covered. There will be a strength and conditioning component to every session that will include free weights, plyometrics as well as medicine balls and plyo balls. We will also focus on speed and agility training.

  • Video analysis of both pitching and hitting

Session # 5 - Womens Softball

Athletes born 2006-2009
Wednesday Only 5PM - 6:30

YQL Sluggers is teaming up with Lethbridge Pronhorn softball athlete Miranda Holod to help out with the softball camp.

The camp will cover skill development in fielding, throwing and hitting. A strength and conditioning component will be included in every session. It will include agility, resistance training as well as some plyometrics.

Cost: $300

Here is what you get;

  • 9 - 60 minute indoor sessions
  • Groups of 6 only
  • Pitching instruction from Miranda Holod
  • Game situational hitting using our HitTrax system.
  • Video analysis of hitters

Session # 6 - Softball Pitching

Athletes born 2005-2009
Fridays 2pm-3pm

Session #6 and 7 will focus on exclusively pitching in softball. The instruciton is provided by Miranda Holod who currently plays for the U of L Pronghorn softball team.

Cost: $250

  • 9 - 60 minute indoor pitching sessions
  • Softball pitching mechanics provided by Miranda Holod.
  • Arm conditioning exercises
  • Video analysis of each athlete

Session # 7 - Softball Pitching

Athletes born 2005-2009
Fridays 3:15pm-4:15pm

Session #6 and 7 will focus on exclusively pitching in softball. The instruciton is provided by Miranda Holod who currently plays for the U of L Pronghorn softball team.
